- General DiscussionI recently made this crooked knife for my fellow artist and craftsman Greg Johnson. It feature a unique handle made from a red oak burl. It carves wicked good and fits his hand perfectly. Good luck Greg with your future birchbark canoe projects eh.
- General DiscussionI recently finished making two crooked knives. One features a tiger maple handle and the other of cherry burl. Both are right handed. I also made a canoe awl utilizing the cherry burl wood. The awl itself is hand forged.
